Abstract

From an analysis of the main anticorruption policies and reforms of president Lopez Obrador’s government and its legislative majority, this paper shows how the fight against corruption has been used as an excuse to promote populist and authoritarian measures that deform Mexican democracy and generate high constitutional costs.
