Abstract
The Camino Real de Tierra Bajo provided diverse supplies to the city of Merida through the port of Sisal, coming from the port of Campeche. Since its zenith in the middle of the 19th century, it has fallen into neglect, but it remains significant for its still visible material remains, as proposed by an integral reevaluation of its historical heritage based upon its analysis, knowledge, and publication.
