Abstract

Motivation is a Latin term derived from the word movere. Its main meaning is known as to move, to move. It is a concept used in the sense of mobilizing people to do business. In this context, we can explain the motivation of the educators, who are our subject, as their developing love for the school, the institution where they work, a sense of belonging there, and enjoying doing their job. The more a person feels that he belongs to the institution he works for, the more connected he can be considered to be to that institution. School commitment and motivation are very important concepts for teachers working at school. The promises made by teachers working at the school to themselves on issues such as arriving late to the institution, delaying entering their classes, or being late to school will cause a person's organizational commitment and sense of belonging towards the school to increase. If a person feels that the more connected he is to the institution he works for, the higher his commitment and motivation will be. One of the variables that is as effective as commitment in the motivation levels of educators is the form of leadership they perceive towards their managers. The phenomenon of leadership is a concept that has emerged regardless of the religious or cultural structures of all societies from ancient times to the present. It is observed that all societies that have maintained or continue to maintain continuity for many years have a distinct leadership structure. Being healthy and strong in motivation in a business or organization where the leader is effective will strengthen the movement within the organization.
