Abstract

The aim of this study is to examine the personal development of education managers working in educational institutions. Education management has the responsibility and power to shape the future of a country. In particular, the responsibility of school administrators is seen as very important in this respect. For this reason, the behavior, attitude, skills and knowledge of school administrators should be acquired through the programs to be implemented. Managerial tasks that are started without developing professional positive attitudes and behaviors and the necessary professional developments may cause incorrect behavior. It causes the lack of job preparation training before starting to work in school administration, which is not considered as a profession in itself. When management is considered as a problem-solving ability, the ability to overcome problems using scientific methods instead of learning by living should be an ability that should be acquired before starting the task, not when the individual undertakes his/her task. Key Words: Educational Institutions, Educational Managers, Personal Development
