Abstract

AbstractIn contemporary poetry, the status of the textual subject and its relationship to the author opens a horizon of innovative and experimental forms that pose a challenge to the theory of lyric and its conventional methods of description and analysis. This volume presents selected positions from the current discourse on lyric theory and confronts these questions, on the one hand, with philosophical considerations and, on the other, with forms of subjectivity in contemporary poetry. The intention of this volume is to stimulate the development of descriptive tools that are theoretically grounded and at the same time reflect the evolving practice of new poetry itself. The introduction provides a theoretical background of the concepts of „subject“ and „author“ at selected stages of their emergence, followed by the contributions themselves. Finally, the volume closes with a cursory exploration of lyrical practice in order to open up further perspectives in the theory of lyric.SchlüsselwörterLyriktheorieSubjektTextsubjektAutorAbstrakter AutorGegenwartslyrik / lyric theorySubjectTextual subjectAuthorImplied authorContemporary poetry
