Abstract
My hands are numb is a common complaint in primary care. Generally, carpal tunnel syndrome can be suspected. This case report explains typical aspects of clinical reasoning used by neurologists to confirm the diagnosis, and also provides some details of «red flags» based on history and examination. Additionally, a short introduction to electrodiagnostic procederes is included and illustrated with diagrams.
