Abstract
BRACKEL, W. V. & ZIMMERMANN, D. G. 2012. A new species of Nectriopsis on Cladonia from Nordrhein- Westfalen (Germany). - Herzogia 25: 231–234.The new species Nectriopsis cariosae is described. It is dwelling on the basal squamules of different species of Cladonia, mainly on C. cariosa. Nectriopsis cariosae is distinguished from N. cladoniicola, also living on Cladonia, by longer ascospores, the colour of the ascomata (orange vs. pink) and the collapsing peridial walls in dry state.
