Eine Anwendung von η(τ)

Abstract

Abelian differentials of four elliptic function fields may be constructed from Dedekind's function η. Each of the fields mentioned belongs to a congruence subgroup of index 12 of the modular group. A method involving Weierstrass' ℘-functions then yields the respective absolute invariants. Two of the fields are thus seen not to admit of complex multiplication.
