Abstract

Eucharistic ecclesiology has undoubtedly been the most important current of ecclesiological thought in recent decades. A condition of the modern Orthodox theological self-consciousness and a point of convergence for theologians of different denominations, it is still a matter of deep discussion and a field of possible research. As one of those who has been involved in the emergence of this debate within the younger theological generation in Greece, I will confine myself, in this article, to presenting some thoughts for a critical evaluation of eucharistic ecclesiology.
