Abstract

With the exploding volume of traffic and expanding quality of service (QoS) requirements from emerging e-health applications, extensive research has been carried out to address various issues in QoS parameters regarding to Internet and the tele-communication networks. Dealing with e-health applications, because of their relationship with humans’ health, we should have qualified infrastructure and communication networks capable of delivering data error free and on time. There should be minimum thresholds for these parameters like bandwidth and latency for assuring the accuracy of the results of e-health applications. The impact of QoS key parameters to successful implementation of e-health different application will be studied. The goal is to create scenery for decision making and e-health applicability. A four level ordinal scaling method will be employed to show the importance degree of each field of QoS in e-health as low, moderate, high and very high importance.
