Abstract

A review of e-government developments in Jordan is set in the context of the contradictions. Jordanian strategy will benefit from a clear understanding of refinement of strategy and improved policies. The public policy and e-government implementation issues have a direct impact on the e-readiness. The aim of this paper is to explore the main key e-government factors that contribute to the success of e-readiness assessment from the experience of some of the public and private organisations in Jordan. The findings are very important since they indicate that the leadership is aware of the importance of the ICT Infrastructure to the Jordanian society.
