Abstract

Aims: The aim was to explore the outcome of later pregnancies in mothers with previous complete uterine rupture. Methods: A population based study to compare outcome of new pregnancies in mothers with previous complete uterine rupture (72 mothers) with outcome of mothers with previous cesarean section (CS) (121028 mothers) in1967-2008 in Norway. We used Medical Birth Registry of Norway, Patient Administration System and medical records. Results: Of 72, there were three with new complete ruptures (4.2%) and six with uneventful partial uterine ruptures (8.3%).
