Abstract
Soft electronics brings the technology of embedded micro-control within the reach of students with a broad range of abilities. Following on from the Spring '97 article “Pic and mix” for pupils, this article provides an insight to this new development and outlines some introductory project ideas for design and technology with the 14–16 age range.
