Abstract

This paper presents the first recorded occurrences of the South American neophyte Egeria densa in Poland, currently known from two locations in the southern part of the country in slow-flowing, shallow, eutrophic waters of lowland rivers – the Vistula River near Dąbrówka Morska, and its small tributary, Serafa River near Kraków.
