Abstract

Recent results from CMS of searches for new physics in the context of effective field theories (EFT) are presented. A measurement of the $\mathrm{t\bar{t}\gamma}$ differential production cross section is performed and the results are interpreted in terms of EFT. A search for new physics through EFT in events with top quarks and multilepton final states is shown. A new EFT search using $\mathrm{t(t)Z}$ events and machine learning techniques is presented as well. The three results are compatible with the standard model predictions and constraints in several Wilson coefficients are set.
