Abstract

The purpose of the article is to improve the level of child health protection in Uzbekistan, as well as in all former Soviet republics in difficult conditions after the Second World War, including improving the material and technical support of maternal and child health, pediatricians, especially obstetricians and gynecologists. Systematization of the supply level has become one of the urgent tasks. According to archival data, as of October 1, 1946, the provision of the republic with pediatric personnel was 62%. He also referred to the factual shortage of pediatricians in the provinces. In particular, in Surkhandarya region there were 3 instead of 12 pediatricians, in Kashkadarya region there were 6 instead of 14 pediatricians, in Karakalpakstan there were 7 pediatricians instead of 13. In 1950-1980, despite the shortcomings in the protection of motherhood and childhood in the country. it was found that he entered the history of medicine as a period of wide development.
