Abstract

Because group signature schemes allow us to anonymously verify user's ownership of some privileges, it is applied to various security protocols such as anonymous e-cashes, biddings and so on. But, in order for the whole group signature concepts to become really practical, the problems of secure and efficient group member revocation must be treated nicely. In this paper, we construct a novel efficient and secure revocation method for group signature schemes. The length of the group public key and the size of signatures are independent of the number of the group members. Furthermore, the proposed scheme is very convenient for members to join or to leave from the group.
