Abstract
In this paper, a cooperative communication scheme is proposed utilizing superposition modulation (SM) in orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM). The proposed relay selection scheme selects an optimal relay and improves the BER performance by utilizing SM in cooperative communication. Also, the proposed cooperative communication scheme transmits the signal of source and relay at the same time by utilizing SM. As a result, the proposed schemes select the optimal relay and improve the reliability and throughput compared with the conventional cooperative communication scheme.
