Abstract

An efficient and secure mobile IP registration protocol is proposed, which is based on certificateless public key signature scheme without pairing to minimize the registration time. Moreover, user anonymity is achieved via a temporary identity (TID) transmitted by a mobile user, instead of its true identity. Additional replay protection from a foreign agent (FA) is included in the registration messages to prevent a possible replay attack. Finally, security analyses show that our scheme is both secure and efficient.
