Abstract

An efficient method of generation of highly stable radial, azimuthal polarized cylindrical perfect vector vortex beams is proposed and demonstrated. Method consists of single path coherent superposition of two orthogonal circularly polarized beam of opposite topological charges with a constant relative phase using a polarization sensitive phase-only spatial light modulator (SLM). The relative phase is tuned by the pre-calibrated gray level offset of the in-built spiral phase function on the SLM. The state of polarization of the generated beams is uniformly distributed across the space.
