Abstract
Under the case-cohort design, measurements of the expensive covariates are obtained only on the cases and the subcohort. Other covariates and some surrogate measurements of the expensive covariates are obtained on the entire cohort. To make full use of the covariate data collected outside the case-cohort sample, we propose a class of double-weighted estimators with general time-varying weights for the additive-multiplicative hazards model. The asymptotic properties of the resulting estimators are derived, and an efficient estimator within this class is identified. Simulation studies show that the proposed estimators work well for finite sample studies. A real example is provided.
