Abstract

It is often necessary to calculate frequency characteristics of a power conversion system for design and stability analysis. This paper proposes an efficient computation method which calculates a response signal component for a perturbed signal in a PE system. The proposed method is essentially reduced to repeated steady-state analysis for sampled frequency points. A fast and efficient steady-state simulation method is proposed which is based on a new extended combination of the envelope-following and the conventional shooting methods. A DC-DC converter system with a closed-loop control is adopted as an analysis example and its result is validated for accuracy and computational efficiency.
