Efficiency of HF Communication Modems Operating Over a Mid-latitude Long-Range Propagation Path

Abstract

Currently, studying characteristics of ionospheric HF communication channels and relationship between channel parameters and communication modem parameters is topical in the industrialized countries due to variability of the ionosphere and multipath propagation. Cognitive HF communication is currently developing and requires the use of systems of diagnostics of multiple frequency channels.
