Abstract

Purpose. Exploring by monolithic concrete slabs tests under static load of the possibility of corrugated steel decking bearing anchoring by bolted connections. Methodology. Test specimens were manufactured: fragment models of monolithic concrete bridge deck slabs with external reinforcement by corrugated steel decking with bearing anchoring by bolted connections. Specimens were tested under pure bending scheme by static load. Findings. During the tests carrying capacity of monolithic concrete slabs, reinforced by corrugated steel decking with bolted bearing anchoring, was determined; determined carrying capacity is comparable with such capacity of slabs with welded bearing anchoring. After the tests was made a conclusion that corrugated steel decking affects on the survivability of samples by preventing the progressive collapse of specimens. Originality. During the laboratory tests data of carrying capacity of specimens was received, nature of crack formation, features of work and destruction of specimens were described. Practical value. The experimental confirmation the possibilities and perceptivity of steel decking's bearing bolted anchoring appliance in bridge building were obtained.
