Abstract
The efficiency of a recoil proton counter of the Perlow-type was calculated for the case of a parallel neutron beam and the case of a neutron point source. Calculations of open solid angles for a proton collimator - indispensable for the above-mentioned efficiency calculations - were performed without any neglect. The results were compared with an approximation previously used.
