Abstract
The aim of this work is to determine the agreement between technical specifications provided by manufacturers of PV system components with those hypothesis normally adopted in the stage of design. Therefore, the efficiency analysis of these components is carried out in a short-term study framed by a long-term planning study. This analysis is based on three SHS selected among 14 SHS installed in a rural isolated village in Argentina, throughout a three years continuous monitoring of the systems. With the obtained data, an analysis of solar resource and energy demand is performed and the results are compared with the hypothesis considered at the system-design stage. The 3 systems considered have different power installed, kind of consumers and load-demand behaviours. The efficiency of components and of the whole system is obtained in relation to weather data, quality of components, and demand behaviour.
