Abstract
Objective of the study: to study the clinical efficacy of thiotriazolin in treatment of chronic inflammatory processes of uterine appendages.
Material and methods. The study involved 85 patients aged 22-48 years: the study group included 33 patients with exacerbation of chronic adnexitis (who used thiotriazolin in complex treatment); control group included 22 patients, who received standard therapy; control group included 20 healthy women. The functioning of the system of lipids peroxide oxidation - antioxadant system, osmotic resistance of erythrocytes, concentration of middle molecules, the level of anxiety were studied.
Results. The positive influence of Thiotriazolin on the general health state of patients, the regress of clinical symptoms of inflammation was proved in women with exacerbation of chronic inflammatory processes of uterine appendages. The use of Thiotriazolin contributed to normalization of changes in the system of lipids peroxide oxidation - antioxadant system, resistance of cell membranes, decrease in manifestations of endotoxemia and reduction of the level of anxiety.
Conclusions: The use of Thiotriazoline in the complex treatment of women with chronic inflammatory processes of uterine appendages contributes to faster positive changes in the clinical course of the disease compared with standard therapy. The use of Thiotriazolin enables to normalize changes in the system of lipids peroxide oxidation - antioxadant system, to restore the resistance of cellular membranes and to decrease the manifestations of endotoxemia. The use of Thiotriazolin can significantly reduce the level of situational anxiety in women with inflammatory processes of the uterus. The obtained results show high efficacy of Thiotriazolin and ground the need for its wider implementation in the treatment of inflammatory diseases of the genitals in women.
