Abstract
The article analyzes the recent data concerning the new trends in the treatment of acne vulgaris of moderate severity using tetracyclines. Low-dose regimen of doxycycline is highly effective against inflammatory and noninflammatory lesions in patients with moderate acne on the face with a minority of side effects.

Эффективность субантимикробной дозы доксициклина в терапии акне средней степени тяжести: обзор зарубежных исследований Низкодозовый режим назначения доксициклина характеризуется высокой эффективностью в отношении воспалительных и невоспалительных поражений у пациентов с умеренными проявлениями акне на лице при минимальном количестве побочных эффектов. Антибактериальные препараты являются основой системного воздействия на Propionibacterium acnes при средней и тяжелой степени акне (таблица).
