Abstract
Among different storage pests, Tribolium castaneum is an important secondary pest. Insecticide formulations are being used as prophylactic and curative treatments to contain its menace. However, few insecticides are registered and used in warehouses. Among the six different synthetic insecticide formulations studied, significant protection against T. castaneum was obtained through the application of deltamethrin at 0.025% irrespective of exposure period.
