Abstract

Objective To investigate the effect of compound glycyrrhizin combined with calcipotriol ointment on psoriasis vulgaris and T helper cell 17. Methods A total of 104 patients with psoriasis vulgaris from December 2014 to December 2015 were selected, and were randomly divided into the two groups, with 52 cases in each group. The single group was given calcipotriol ointment and the combination group was treated with calcipotriol ointment and compound glycyrrhizin. The effects and index level changes before and after treatment of the two groups were compared. Results The total effective rate of the combination group was 90.38% (47/52), and that of the single group was 69.23%(36/52), the difference was significant between the two groups (P<0.05). After treatment, the indexes of the combined group were better than that of the single group, and the differences were significant (P<0.05). Conclusions The effect of compound glycyrrhizin and calcipotriol ointment on psoriasis vulgaris is significant, which can effectively improve the expression of Th17 and other related cytokines, and can improve the therapeutic effect. Key words: Compound glycyrrhizin; Calcipotriol ointment; Psoriasis vulgaris; T helper cell 17
