Abstract
Introduction: Recent advancement of laparoscopic surgery made it possible to perform laparoscopic cholecystectomy (LC) for acute cholecystitis (AC). Bailout surgery (BOS; partial cholecystectomy, open conversion, fundus 1st approach) has been recommended in difficult cases. This study retrospectively aimed to validate the feasibility of bail out surgery in acute cholecystitis.
