Abstract

Objective To analyze the safety and clinical efficacy of comprehensive nursing intervention in patients with asymptomatic hyperuricemia found in physical examination. Methods A total of 80 patients receiving physical examination in our hospital were randomized into two equal groups, control group and experimental group.Patients in the control group received conventional care, while patients in the experimental group were given comprehensive nursing care.Uric acid levels, body mass index, total cholesterol and triglyceride levels of the two groups of patients were compared before and after nursing interventions. Results The uric acid levels (345.675±54.137) μmol/L in the experimental group after treatment was significantly lower than that in the control group (407.462±48.789) μmol/L, and the difference was statistically significant (P 0.05). After nursing, the body mass index (22.04±2.14), total cholesterol (4.51±1.12) mmol/L and triglyceride levels (1.71±0.59) mmol/L of the experimental group were obviously lower than that of the control group (24.53±3.01), (5.68±2.59) mmol/L, (2.15±0.88) mmol/L, with significant difference (P<0.05). Conclusion Comprehensive nursing care interventions exerts significant clinical effect in patients with asymptomatic hyperuricemia found during physical examination, has a high security, promote the recovery of uric acid levels, and reduce the incidence of hypertension, hyperglycemia, central obesity and metabolic syndrome. Key words: Comprehensive nursing intervention; Physical examination; Asymptomatic; High uric acid
