Methods Forty-eight patients with early-stage endometrial cancer in Yangjiang People’s Hospital from January 2014 to January 2017 were enrolled. The 22 patients who underwent hysteroscopic electric resection were treated as control group, and the 26 patients who underwent electric resection combined with progesterone were treated as study group. The clinical treatment effects, recurrence and pregnancy of the two groups were observed and compared. Results The complete remission rate of the study group (96.15%) was significantly higher than that of the control group (77.27%, P<0.05). In the control group, 3 patients (16.67%) relapsed, and 1 patient (4.00%) in the study group relapsed, there was significant difference in the recurrence rate between the two groups (P<0.05). Twenty-eight of the 48 patients underwent follow-up reproductive treatment activities in the hospital, 17 patients successfully got pregnant and produced, 7 patients had a miscarriage after pregnancy, and 4 patients were still pregnant. Conclusions Hysteroscopic combined with progesterone has good efficacy on early stage endometrial cancer patients, with low recurrence rate, and little effect on subsequent pregnancy.
