Abstract
The mainstain therapy in polymyositis is corticosteroids and immunosupressive drugs. We report 2 cases of severe refractory polymyositis with dramatic response with the association of plasma exchange and intravenous gammaglobulin despite the failure of these therapies isolated prescribed in one case.
