Abstract

Five patients who were treated with amiodarone for 2 to 18 months developed unusual neurotoxic manifestations : oro-facial dyskinesia (2), myoclonic jerks (2), extrapyramidal hypertonia (2), vertiginous syndrome (1). These symptoms disappeared 1 week to 3 months after amiodarone treatment was withdrawn.
