Abstract

This study examined the effects of simultaneous administration of verbal and spatial visual tasks on a dichotic nonsense syllables test of perceptual asymmetry. Both the verbal and the spatial tasks led to an increase in perceptual asymmetry. Errors on the dichotic test increased with simultaneous administration of the verbal task but not with the spatial task.
