Abstract

In respect to the influence of ultra wide-band electromagnetic pulse on unmanned aerial data link system, an electromagnetic effect test was carried out, the influence law was obtained, and the protection suggestions were given. First, the intensities of ultra wide-band radiation field at different distances were measured. Then the corresponding relationship between electromagnetic environment and fault phenomenon of data link system was obtained under different radiation field intensities, different repetition frequencies and different data link states. Experimental data show that the data link system, as the hardcore of unmanned aerial vehicle, is susceptible to strong electromagnetic pulse interference. Front door coupling is the main coupling path for the interference to unmanned aerial vehicle's main remote control data link, so it is necessary to install protection module on RF front-end to improve the anti-damage capability. The back door coupling phenomenon is also serious, so shielding, grounding and filtering methods must be comprehensively adopted for total security.
