Abstract
オーセージオレンジ (クワ科ハリグワ属植物) の成熟果実から2種類のイソフラボノイド, オサジンとポミフェリンを単離し, アワノメイガに対する摂食阻害と成長抑制効果を調べた. 人工飼料の乾物重量あたり0.4%以上の濃度では, オサジンはアワノメイガの飼料消費量, 消費速度および成長を顕著に抑制した. 一方, ポミフェリンは, 0.1%以上の濃度ではアワノメイガの飼料消費量, 成長, 排泄量および成長速度を顕著に抑制した. また, ポミフェリンは, 0.4%以上の濃度でアワノメイガの飼料消費速度を抑制した. 両化合物とも, 排泄速度に対しては有意な効果を示さなかった. ポミフェリンはアワノメイガ雌の蛹重を減少させたが, 幼虫期間や蛹期間および雌雄の羽化率には顕著な効果を示さなかった. 両化合物のアワノメイガの防除剤としての利用には限界があるように思われた.
