Abstract
AbstractA brief review is given of studies on a new semiconductor superlattice—an orientational superlattice—observed recently in spontaneously ordered III–V alloys GaInP. New experimental data, including band edge optical transitions and Raman transitions, are presented to illustrate the unique and intrinsic properties of orientational superlattices.
