Abstract
The effects of room temperature rolling in different directions on magnetic properties, electrical properties and bending ductility of Fe85P11C2B2 amorphous alloy were evaluated. Room temperature rolling can improve the saturation magnetization (Ms) of samples, which is due to the formation of α-Fe nanocrystals in matrix. The increase in free volume and surface roughness can enhance the resistivity (ρ). Through adjusting the rolling direction, the Ms of the sample is enhanced from 1.54 T to 1.72 T and the resistivity is increased from 177.05 μΩ·cm to 211.03 μΩ·cm. The rolled ribbons maintain good bending ductility. The appropriate heat treatment can reduce the coercivity of rolled samples. Our results provide new insights into the improvement of rolling which is expected to be used in engineering fields.
