Abstract

Objective To analyzes the effect of pregnancy and childbirth on the pelvic floor function and to study the effect of early pelvic floor rehabilitation of pelvic floor recovery. Methods A total of 52 parturients in late pregnancy from January 2014 to February 2015 were selected as treatment group, and 52 cases of unbearing women over the same period were selected as control group. Basin function parameters changes such as UI-A, PUV-A, UVJ-HD, UVJ-VD were observed. Bladder prolapse, pelvic hernia, rectocele, anorectal connection exception decline, and the incidences of rectal prolapse change were observed. Patients in treatment group received early pelvic floor rehabilitation and the pelvic floor functional changes before and after treatment were observed. Results Pelvic hernia, abnormal anorectal connection drops, rectocele, rectal prolapse rate in treatment group were significantly higher than those in control group (P<0.05). Patients’ pelvic floor function parameters were significantly higher those of the control group (P<0.05). After early rehabilitation of pelvic floor, pelvic floor function parameters significantly changed (P<0.05), and there was significant difference compared with the control group (P<0.05). Conclusions After the experience of women in pregnancy and childbirth, the pelvic floor are affected to some extent. It can effectively promote the recovery of pelvic floor function and improve quality of life for women only by strengthening early pelvic floor rehabilitation.
