Abstract
Es wird gezeigt, dass ein aus Schweinehypophysen gewonnenes lipotropes Hormon (β-LPH), in vitro und in vivo bei verschiedenen Tierarten untersucht, eine Erhohung der Lipolyse herbeifuhrt. Die Wirkung war deutlich bei Kaninchen, Meerschweinchen und Schweinen, wahrend bei Hunden, Ratten und Mausen keine lipolytische Wirkung nachzuweisen war.
