Abstract
北陸地域の水田転換畑でのエダマメの早期直播栽培における安定生産技術の確立を目的として，ポリマルチ被覆による早期直播栽培の有効性を評価した．透明・黒色ポリマルチ直播区は無マルチ区や黒色ポリマルチ移植区に比べて生育期間中の乾物重が増大した．また，透明・黒色ポリマルチ直播栽培区において莢収量の有意な増加が認められた．このような生育量の増大や収量の増加が生じた要因として，高い出芽率，葉面積指数の早期拡大および莢数の増大が考えられた．一方，透明ポリマルチ直播区の雑草乾物重は，黒色ポリマルチ被覆した直播区や移植区に比べて顕著に増大した．これらのことから，早期直播栽培では畝を黒色ポリマルチ被覆することが収量安定化と雑草抑制に有効であると判断された．
