Abstract

This study was carried out to identify the awareness and sensibility levels of campus people about environmental problems in Erzurum, the largest city of the East Anatolian Region, Turkey. A standard questionnaire form was completed by 350 volunteers and the data obtained were evaluated with Chisquare (x 2 ) test. Environmental sensibility of the campus population was found to be 64.4% and the relationships between the sensibility and education levels, age, gender and income groups were investigated.
