Abstract

The elimination of carbon particles at the level of the exhaust line is one of the present challenges of the car manufacturer. In this study, the catalytic combustion of carbon particles has been investigated in the presence of Cu–Ce–Al oxides. The influence of ozonation on the catalytic and physicochemical properties of Cu–Ce–Al oxides at the reaction of diesel soot combustion was examined by thermal analysis and EPR methods.
