Abstract

This study analyzed the effects of job selection motives and work values of tattooists on job satisfaction. For this purpose, the survey was conducted on 180people for 2 months since July. 14, 2020., and analysis of Frequency, correlation analysis, and multiple regression analysis were performed. This study surveyed 180 tattooists who had acquired the ‘Tattooist private certificate(Korea Research Institute for Vocational Education and Training No. 2019-001895)’ to identify the relationship between the job selection motives and work values on job satisfaction of tattooists. Through the above research results, this study could confirm that job selection motives and work values of tattooists have an significance on job satisfaction, and this relationship would be influenced by that gender, marital status, age, and experience. Therefore, if a follow-up study on job stress depending on job satisfaction is conducted specifically based on the detailed classification of the job selection motives and work values, it will help create new jobs by improving the self-efficacy and social recognition of the job as a tattooist.
