Abstract
AbstractThe influence of isoproterenol on the submaxillary gland of hemisialectomized castrated male rats and controls is studied.Taking into account the gland weight and histometry of histologic samples, it has been proved that hypertrophing effect of isoproterenol is greater in castrated rats than in control groups. The effect may be reversed by administration of low testosterone doses.
