Abstract
Objective: Osteoporosis is a common disease with genetic component. It has been shown that polymorphic Sp1 site is associated with osteoporosis. We tried to evaluate the effects of HRT on BMD in patients with or without Col1A1 Sp1 binding site polymorphism and its possible role in bone collagen turnover.
