Abstract
The purpose of this research is to ascertain if differences exist in participation in life activities, interaction with family members, and spousal conflict, by the amount of time fathers spend using the home computer. Findings indicate there were significant differences among fathers by the amount of time fathers spend using the home computer, on 5 of 13 life activities (watching television, reading computer books or magazines, reading noncomputer books or magazines, participating in recreational activities, and performing household tasks), interaction with wife, and spousal conflict(conflict between husband and wife about the amount of time husbands spend using the computer). Implications of these findings are discussed.
