Abstract
Objective To analyze the effects of high-risk pregnancy on delivery methods and fetal outcomes. Methods A total of 70 puerperae admitted to Heze Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine from February 2016 to February 2019 were selected as the research object. According to high-risk pregnancy score, they were divided into high-risk pregnancy group (n=35) and normal pregnancy group (n=35). The delivery methods and fetal outcomes were compared between the two groups. Results Among the 35 high-risk puerperae, the proportion of scar uterus was at the first place (28.57%), followed by breech position, hepatitis B virus carrying, overdue pregnancy, severe preeclampsia and premature rupture of membranes (17.14%, 14.29%, 11.43%, 11.43% and 8.57%). The cesarean section rate in high-risk pregnancy group was higher than that in normal pregnancy group, while natural delivery rate was lower than that in normal pregnancy group (P 0.05). The cesarean section rate in high-risk pregnancy puerperae was higher than natural delivery rate (P 0.05). Conclusions High-risk pregnancy will increase cesarean section rate and adverse maternal and neonatal outcomes. Clinically, patients should be regularly checked to understand growth status of fetus. For the puerperae with abnormalities, effective measures should be taken to conduct intervention for improving pregnancy outcomes. Key words: High-risk pregnancy; Delivery method; Fetal outcome
